When Penhale View was initially designed, the surrounding environment was factored into the outline to create a development that sits in harmony with the established greenery in the surrounding areas.
“This rare development boasts a collection of 4-bedroom executive family homes in a scenic and idyllic setting, with a network of coastal footpaths right on your doorstep.”
Hinged UK were contacted to deliver a range of kitchens that would meet the extraordinarily high specifications these luxury homes were aimed for. The Hinged team collaborated with two local companies, Kingsley Developments and Limitless Construction, to successfully complete and deliver the Penhale View Project.
“Kinglsey Developments are a group of regional property developers, operating in the residential, retail and leisure markets. They have a long and broad track record of development projects stretching back decades.”
Taking a high-spec kitchen beyond what was thought to be possible…
What happens in the event that a client specifically requests an even higher-spec kitchen during the development stage?
Such an event occurred during the Penhale View development where a client specifically requested some massive upgrades to their kitchen.
Dean Martin of Hinged UK was confident that Hinged were versatile enough to accommodate virtually anything the client requested. Upon speaking with the customer and listening to their specific needs, Dean knew he could oblige their requests and took ownership of this kitchen upgrade.
The Kitchen that Dean designed was a luxurious in-frame kitchen with a flat panel design rather than the traditional shaker approach. This combination of in-frame and flat panel bring a more contemporary style to an in-frame kitchen.
Featured throughout are NEFF appliances whilst the ‘Mont Blanc’ Neolith worktops contrast and complement these. Convenient Quooker hot taps also make an appearance as well as timber drawer boxes, adding to the kitchen’s high specification.
To create a great aesthetic, the blue furniture included is in shades of Marine and Light Grey. There is no grain on the wood which means there is a smooth finish to the wood.
Each of these properties features a bespoke Hinged UK kitchen that includes:
- British made bespoke handleless units
- 20mm Quartz Worktops
- 100mm Quartz Upstands
- An undermounted stainless steel sink and tap
- Neff Appliances
Working around existing plans
With multiple companies working together to create housing developments, it can sometimes be difficult to accommodate everyone’s needs.
Hinged UK make it their priority to make sure any upgrades to their kitchens are as convenient as possible not only to the client, but also to the other businesses involved.
After his initial discussion with the client, Dean was able to deliver what they were after without making the contractors journey more awkward. All upgrades and changes were made and completed in house while the contractors remained in the loop and were always considered and informed of updates.
The end result was a completely upgraded kitchen that was supplied within budget on site and on time. Then upgraded kitchen was designed and completed based entirely on the client’s needs.
If clients are interested in a higher specification kitchen in new housing developments, then they are not restricted with Hinged UK.
Given the right amount of time and organisation, Hinged UK can take kitchens above and beyond what and meet the client’s needs.
Hinged UK’s collaboration with Kingsley Developments and Limitless Construction has created a high specification and contemporary property on the cornish coast, built to last.
